6. Non existence of credible website – Check the credibility of the company’s website. Visit domain whois.domaintools.com and check the website’s details. Also visit alexa.com and check its website ranking. A poor ranking website is an indication that it has little or no value to the web.

7. Earmarks of illegitimacy – Bad signs can be useful to determine if companies are online scams. Check how they promote their products. See if their campaigns are full of hypes and unrealistic claims. If they talk about get rich quick income or easy wealth, there is a big chance that they operate spuriously.
