During Friday the 13th
 I was about to promote my passive income online website this Friday morning when I read a comment on Facebook: “Friday the 13th, I love it”. This was the intriguing comment of a person who felt happy on that day which is a departure from the usual. I thought maybe this person is in the dark... oops, wait! Maybe I should check first.
 
I wondered whether, indeed, a Friday the 13th brings bad luck. If you engage in business, is it safe to do it on this day? Let me share something for those who are paralyzed by this notion. I did a quick research on the superstition and this is what I discovered: Friday the 13th usually occurs at least once in a year, but it happens three times a year at the most. If you have fears on this day, it might be relieving for you to know that today (Nov 13, 2009) is the last occurrence for this year. But, you will be surprised to know that others would get disappointed because this is the last one and they have to wait next year to celebrate it.Why is that so? Well, it is because according to the superstition, it holds to be a day of good or bad luck! Although this suppose to bring either bad or good fate, more people, especially in the business world seem to be affected by this. According to the Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute in Asheville, North Carolina, an estimated 17 to 21 million people in USA alone are affected. Some of them stop their usual business routines, traveling by air or even going out of their homes. The result is, about $800 to $900 million in business is lost during Friday the 13th.If you find this day a bad, maybe it is a better to change the way you think. While most are not doing business on this day, it might be better for you to do the opposite and continue doing business. Imagine if you have a legitimate online business and you are doing it aggressively while others are idle. You might have better results in your passive income online. And since you have a legitimate home business, you do not have to go out. Right? You should be safe at home... Or are you? Woooooh! I have not experienced bad luck or serious accidents during these days (I hope I will never). On the contrary, based on statistics, accidents are fewer during Friday the 13th because people are being extra careful. Well, that is something positive in a way! This reality will make people more alert if they have this on their minds day by day. If you ask me if I worry during Friday the 13th, my answer is not really. It actually makes the day a very interesting one, colorful and fun. It is nice to talk about it with friends and to include it when you give somebody an advice like, “Hey be extra careful today, it is Friday the 13th!” After my quick investigation on this intriguing day, I decided to continue on with my passive income online with more passion. I will probably get better results because I have less competition. I just wish I made this article earlier so that I could make others understand that there is really nothing to worry about. Considering that the superstitious belief about Friday the 13th is that it either brings GOOD or bad luck, it would be better to be optimistic instead of having negative thoughts. How about you?
