Network Marketing is the only business I think where entrepreneurs like BEING USED.

I mean nobody really wants to be used, like in other businesses or jobs where there are lots of manipulations and politics. But let me make this clearer. When I say about wanting to be used, I only meant that Mentors or Uplines in this career want to be used as tools in building their downlines's network.

Of course every ambitious networker, a beginner or pro, would always want the help of somebody else in trying to persuade a prospect into joining the business opportunity.

In every home based business plan, there should always be the strategy of making 3-way calls or 3rd party edification because this usually gets the job done while a network marketing newcomer is still learning skills or if the prospect is a super skeptic.

Let us find out the common types of People Tools

1.) 3rd Person

Your mentor is the best candidate for a third person tool. You might be wondering why third party is the first on the list. This is simply because most wealth building strategies involves your mentor or upline during the early stage of your prospecting and inviting.

He is there when you introduce him on a 3 way call and you want to invite the prospect to an event or an opportunity meeting. We often use edification this here, and edification can be in either way. I will me explain that in other sub topics here.

Not only can your upline help you with inviting people. If you are face to face with your client and you are with your mom, you can introduce your mother to the prospect and let her make good comment about you like how good or professional you are with people. Just don't make it too mushy so your client won't be turned off. :

Your children can also be there to help you. I remember when my dad use to sell me (being a good student) to his legal clients to show how proud he is with me. The client sees how my dad loves his children. But you know what? I know what is "really" happening! But, I always like that.

You can also "use" your friends to help you with prospecting. Your buddy can even give a good testimony about your products and make you shining like a diamond.

2.) 2nd Person

Your wealth building strategies can also include your prospects as the tools for prospecting. It is just edifying your prospective clients so they enjoy your friendship. But do not overdo it because they might be so suspicious that you look like you want something in return. Maintain subtle gestures and compliments enough to make them smile and be closer to you.

So, your client is the 2nd person. Let us say you set a date with your doctor during your regular check up. After examining you, tell him how great he is in keeping you healthy. Say that you are recommending people to him so he can appreciate you more. Then, really refer other people to your doctor. Not only you have used him as a 2nd person, you also have used him as a third person to other people you are referring him to. Now that is what you call brilliant!

It makes good sense when I say we "Use Them". You will notice that while you are doing that, you are actually making them happy. Just as I said, this is the business where you will love to be used.

3.) 1st person

First person is one of the best wealth building strategies you will ever use. The first person is the most powerful who can effectively convince your prospects. While being the first person, he can also be an effective 3rd person! This is because he has all the skills. He already knows the formula of persuading people to come and join your business.

He is none other than you!

Let us say that you are a beginner in the network marketing business. While you are just learning wealth building strategies, you would probably need to use third party tools for several months. Then after a while, you would then develop the skill to use 2nd person. Yes, using 2nd person would require more skills because it is also you who are doing the talking and a bit of persuading.

A couple of months more and you would be ready to use 1st party. By this time you already have a handful of downlines and earning part time money. Therefore, you already have some results to show!

Through this process you would already have developed the ability to talk using good language. Your influencing power is building up and you are able to show yourself as a confident person. Perhaps you would use less of third party and free your upline of some of his loads.

You would not also need to edify your prospects. Instead, you can start edifying yourself while showing humility and nobility at the same time.
